Pierina is a recent graduate from Florida International University where she studied International Relations and Economics with a certificate in Latin American and Caribbean Studies. She is passionate about international development, especially relating to reducing global gender disparities, poverty, and inequality. She looks forward to a career that allows her to work alongside policymakers to provide inclusive social and economic programming focused on empowering at-risk communities, including refugees, migrants, and individuals living in conflict zones.
